Grade 1A

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It's been another exciting term with so many activities and incursions occurring throughout the school.

This term we celebrated Literacy and Numeracy Week. We held our character parade for book week. A great effort from all our primary students for dressing up in their favourite book characters. We held a competition for the best dressed students from each year level and one teacher. Congratulations to Mrs Safiye, Aydin (grade 1A), Charlotte (grade 2A, Kaylan (Grade 6B), Yaser (Grade 3A), Julian (Grade 4A), Arda (Grade 4B) and Ayla (Foundation) who were our winners. They received vouchers from Smiggles.

A big thankyou to Brimbank Library for coming out to the Primary Students for a storytelling session. All the Lower Primary students really enjoyed listening to a story, singing songs and ending the class with a mini activity relating to the book we read.

The highlights for weeks 7 & 8 was the Numeracy incursions 'The World of Maths' and 'Professor Maths'. The students and I really enjoyed taking part in the various fun, hands on activities and games.

Well done to all my students this term. I would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable term break and Happy Eid.
